Perspective: the way you approach life, the way you look at life, is integral to your well-being.
Sometimes we get so caught up sweating the small stuff, focusing on perceived negatives, that we forget to live a life worth living. In other words, we are living out of alignment, not honoring our true self.
Overtime, living out of alignment will manifest symptoms: symptoms of pain, discomfort, dissatisfaction, self-doubt, worry, anxiety, insomnia, overeating, self-medicating with drugs and alcohol, etc.
Of course, there are some things that are not up to us (genetics, for instance)—we each our have challenges, we each have our gifts—how we choose to overcome those challenges, how we choose to share those gifts, those things are up to us.
We all get out of alignment sometimes, it’s human nature and there are too many influences not to.
Acupuncture works realigning the unique energies that make you, you. —Adding energy where it’s needed, dispersing energy where it’s not needed, or moving energy where it’s stuck (…there’s a reason Chinese Medicine describes symptoms of pain as “stagnation”).
Acupuncture can’t eliminate all the stressors in your life, but it can help you feel better, shifting your perspective away from your symptoms, so that you navigate life as your best self, living a better life.
